What is herbal tea?
Botanical notes on this page describe culinary, traditional, and commonly discussed wellness uses. They are not medical claims. The Green Ritual products are herbal beverages and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Seek a qualified professional if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a health condition.
Tea vs infusion
True tea is Camellia sinensis: green, black, oolong, white. Herbal tea in shops is often a tisane—chamomile, mint, hibiscus, tulsi, turmeric, ginger—steeped like tea. Calling it a herbal drink or herbal beverage is accurate and helps you read caffeine labels.
Why the distinction matters
Evening cups should be caffeine-free if sleep is the goal. Luxury green tea blends still contain caffeine. Our product pages list ingredients so you can choose a ritual, not a surprise stimulant.
